Delight your kids (and kids at heart!) with these wildly fun family vacation rentals

There’s nothing like the holidays to bring out the child-like wonder in each of us. With that sparkle in mind, we had more than a bit of fun choosing the top 10 Stays with Slides this month, highlighting some wildly fun family-friendly vacation rentals. (Because who among us wouldn’t opt for an indoor twisty slide over a staircase in the privacy of your own VRBO?)

ICYMI, over on Instagram and TikTok, we’ve been as chatty as usual, covering justification that you need a weekend away to do nothing, traveling to countries that love kids, and hiking in Kentucky’s Red River Gorge.

Top 10 Stays with Spectacular Slides

Wheeeeee! We’re rounding up some incredibly fun vacation rentals this month, each of which have one common trait—a standout slide. Whether it’s 75 feet of zoom into lake waters or a twisty slide from the top of a triple bunk, these kid-friendly features are the stuff of core memories.

Coming in at a variety of styles, price points and geographies, here is our round-up of seven stays that you simply can’t overlook in your 2025 travel planning:

1.) NOGAL, NEW MEXICO: This desert tree house sleeps four and boasts both a twisty slide and rope bridge. At more than 7,000 feet of elevation, its private deck is the perfect post for stargazing.

2.) LAKE OF THE OZARKS, MISSOURI: In the summer months, guests of this five-bedroom lake house can take slip-and-sliding to the next level with this 75-foot, lake-fed slide that shoots from the upper deck all the way down to the cool waters below.

3.) BROKEN BOW, OKLAHOMA: This outdoorsy retreat will keep the kids content without ever stepping foot outside, thanks to a twisty slide that deposits triple-stacked-bunk sleepers from bed to breakfast in a millisecond.

4.) KISSIMMEE, FLORIDA: Not one, but three slides fill this family friendly fun house near Disney, including this interior play space that drops tikes into a ball pit. Bunk bed slides can also be found in princess- and spaceship-themed children’s bedrooms.

5.) BENT TREE, GEORGIA: Ninety minutes outside of Atlanta, atop a mountain, you’ll find this octagonal vacation home that’s full of fun features, including a twisted living room slide, game room and Nugget couches for optimal fort building.

6.) HOCHATOWN, OKLAHOMA: Leave it to Broken Bow to rack up a second listing in this short and sweet compilation. We simply couldn’t overlook this private pirate playground that spans 30 feet and offers multiple slides for a heckuva time outside a rustic and relaxed contemporary cabin.

7.) POTTSTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA: This glamping experience is just as fun for the kiddos as the adults, with its sweet slide down to roast marshmallows, not far from a hot tub. You’ll need to prepare to use an outhouse, but at roughly $100, it’s an inconvenience we think is worth the cost.

8.) TABLE ROCK LAKE, MISSOURI: Well, hello, playroom! This spectacular set up will keep the entire family occupied on rainy days that prevent guests from taking advantage of the lake and full resort amenities of this large-family vacation rental.

9.) LAKE ANNA, VIRGINIA: The appeal of this expansive lake house only increases when you spy the marina, with a 50-foot waterslide perched atop, dunking directly into the cool waters of this Virginia lake.

10.) GLASBURY, WALES, UK: We ventured outside of the U.S. for this final pick. How could we not include this epic steel slide that blends into the sophisticated decor of this chapel-turned-vacation rental, near an adorable town that boasts 40 charming bookstores?
